Saturday
I went out with friends on Saturday. The day was rather cold and began snowing in the late afternoon. I remember checking the weather in the morning when I chose to wear this sweater. I was glad that I’ve chosen a thick turtle neck sweater and my black Chelsea boots. I wear my boots all the time. They are extremely comfortable and keep my feet warm. On top of that, they are waterproof. Besides, they only costed 15 pounds. I would not feel broken hearted when I wear them as rain or snow boots.
Sunday
Sunday church day. I woke up late again. I did not put much thoughts into my outfits;I just reached for what was in the closet and rushed out the door. I layer a wool stripy turtle neck under my short sleeves dress. The outfit was comfortable, chic and appropriate for the event. I don’t only wear this in winter, but summer as well. I would just remove the turtle neck underneath.
Monday
It was a warm morning and the office I intern at is directly on top of a yoga studio. The hot air rises to the floor I am at. Therefore I decided to dress in short sleeve to accommodate the weather. I remember I was wearing a pair of black suede flats I bought 3 years ago. I rarely wore them but spontaneously decided to wear them to work. My feet grew bigger during these three years and the shoes are now half size too small. I endured the pain for 7 and a half hours. I’ve noted myself to never wear them again.
Tuesday
This outfit is my go to outfit when I am either out of time to dress up or when I don’t know what to wear. It’s very comfortable and professional looking. I styled them with a pair of white sneakers, but sometimes I would wear oxford. When I wear this outfit, I like to roll up the sleeve and untuck the shirt and roll up my jeans to ankle so it looks for effortless and relaxing.
Wednesday
Wednesday was rather warm compared to previous days. I pulled out my Snoopy t- shirt and cropped flared jeans. I tucked the t-shirt into my jeans and styled a psychedelic poker dot socks with red high top converse. I threw on a cardigan because the air conditioning gets really strong in UC. Also it got a little chilly at night. I have Creative Technical on Wednesday which is why I don’t usually wear sweaters to class as taking the threads off sweaters can be troublesome.
Thursday
Thursday got slightly cooler than Wednesday. I had to stay up late on Wednesday night so I got up late that day. I was rushing to get to class and just randomly threw on the blue sweater and low-rise boy friend jeans. I wore my red high top converse. They are the best pair of shoes when you are on the run. In the afternoon I went into the office where I intern at again. There was a slight showering in the afternoon which was why I decided to wear my trench coat. It keeps me warm when its a bit windy.
Friday
On Friday, I have an interview scheduled right after class. I wanted to look more presentable and professional. I wore a black mock neck sweater and a pair of high waisted maroon pants. I knew Friday was a little colder than Thursday but did not anticipate to be much cooler. If I had known earlier, I would have not worn my trench coat. I would have worn my wool coat instead.
