Design of my automata (sketch):
I want to do a scene with moon and star, and the rabbits who live on the moon in traditional Chinese myth.
Material Preparation:
Problem:
The method I tried to do is “Round to Round”. However, it wasn’t working at the beginning. The reason is that the cardboard I use is too rough that friction is too strong. So the round on top will be tilt rather than spin.
So after seen few different automata on Pinterest, I do some advantage on my own: I and stick on the circle so it will move like wheel gear.
Finally!
My Character is based on the mid-autumn, in the traditional Chinese myth, there are a bunch of bunnies that live with ChangE on the Moon. But one of the little bunnies wants to go to the earth. Why? It wants to eat mooncakes! This year is very special, and I finally got the chance to eat mooncakes with my family.
