My experience at the Half Truths exhibit was an enlightening one for sure. Being able to create a new identity based solely on the information from my pockets was difficult yet really described who I was. The lie that I was able to create stemmed from a feeling I had during the first week of school. I was unsure of my place at this school so I used to say “I want to drop out”. It was a very interesting exhibition and being able to see my lie up there along with other peoples was so cool. Having your own words be a part of an exhibit I thought was very special. What other people said was inspiring and also saddening. One that stuck with me was “I don’t miss my mom”. That meant a lot to me because I miss my mother dearly as well as the rest of my family.
