The jacket on its own is a master piece with all the embroidery that was put into in. The flower make the garment unique with a fantasy aspect to the garment. While looking at the garment I wonder why the sleeves was very curved would that be very uncomfortable to the male that was wearing the jacket? These jackets would have been won by an upper-class male. The martial that was used the build this jacket was very expansive and hard to get making it only an option for people with money. The male that wore this piece would most likely wear is on an everyday base or on special events that he would attend to.

The apparition to detail was over the roof and it was seen in this coat. Upper-class citizens during this time loved lavish life style with very detailed items in their clothing and in their homes. This time period was over the top in everything that they would touch in the upper-class.

Coming cross this image in the MET collection was incredible because this image shows the beauty ideal for a male during this time. What makes it a strong piece is the over view of a man in the corset. We have connected corsets with woman and not male figures but this image shows that even a male has to have a certain figure to keeps is image as a man.
