My older self and my present self were able to have a conversation about a very specific and important time in my life, when I got my driver’s license. This was a very significant moment in my life because it was truly the first time I was able to be independent from my parents. It was a key to a source of freedom I had always dream of due to how strict my parents had always been with me.
It was interesting to have this conversation with my older self because we both remembered it differently. This happening a little over a year ago, it is still relevant, fresh, and a very important achievement in my life, but my older self has experienced and gone through so much that this little event is not significant anymore. The older me is telling me how perspectives change and develop as you get older and how experiences change as well.
This was a very interesting project because I got to work with sound editing/Adobe Premier as well as working with the topic of memoir to develop a script and story line. This was a great introduction to both features and I look forward to using Adobe Premier again.
