Int. Studio Sunshine Reflection

In this movie, a group of astronaut are sent to space, on a second mission to revive the sun. Set in the near future, with a first mission already failed, these set of men and women are tasked with saving humanity. As mistakes happen and consequences played out, this mission becomes the last one of many.

In this movie, the sun is an avatar for hope, humanity, and the strength of when individuals come together. These men and women are risking their life to save the sun in order, as a result, to save humanity. The acts of saving the sun itself is what gives them hope to keep going and moving on even after all of their mistakes and setbacks. Because they know both the consequence of saving the sun or not, it gives them strength to keep going and finish out their mission.

Secondly, this mission was impossible if it were not for the willingness of the crew to all come together as a team and accomplish a task. Different men and women with different skills were put together and only when working together and using everyone’s skills were they able to move forward and eventually complete the mission.

The sun stands for unity, a destination, and the hope and strength needed in order to accomplish and reach it.
