I began this series with my daily walk through Prospect Park. Everyday I like to excuse myself from the hustle and bustle of the city and take time to absorb the natural world – a world I connect so deeply with. In my piece, “A Look into The Natural World,” I want to show this connection. My brain feels free and active
while I’m in the park and I am able to feel a complete evenness that I can’t find anywhere else. I take away something new with every walk. The only difference about my walk through Prospect Park for this series was that I picked up artifacts along the way. Every item in my series was found in Prospect Park, put on the scanner, and the resulting images manipulated in Photoshop.
