BRIDGE 2: Conversation through images

*Since our video exceeded the maximum file size for LP and we haven’t created a pdf full, I’ll place few of the images from our conversation in this post. Full conversations are in Google Drive.

I started the first conversation by trying to throw a question like “what is your treasure from childhood?” and continued the conversation with images I captured at home for the most part, but some from outdoors.

What I really liked about our conversations was that we were successful at keeping our conversations remained at certain elements, especially its color theme. Through a few exchanges, I could see how hues of our images gradually shifted as our conversations went on.

The only challenging part I’ve found this project was the time zone; I and Ruijia had 13 hours difference in our time zone, and thus our conversation didn’t occur smoothly in most cases. Without the extension of the presentation due date, we probably wouldn’t have been able to exchange required amount of pictures. It would’ve been better if we had set a certain time each day to stick to our phone and exchange the images sequentially.

We’ve decided to go on video format for the presentation simply because a simple slideshow format is pretty much expected. We then exchanged our opinions about transition, mood and background music of the video and Ruijia was in charge of editing.
