Experience of a Design- Sequence

Final Grid of Images

  • A short description of your chosen object or space:

The object that I chose is a flower vase and it is designed by Georg Jensen. The flower vase has a curve shape to it with reflective metal material made it’s surface and interior of the vase. Since the vase has a curve shape, you can hardly see inside of the vase too.

  • How you documented the experience and presented it

I documented it by following the lower part and move towards the upper part of the vase; then reaching towards the inner of the flower vase. Also, to show and balance both the outside design of the vase and the inner part, I separated each two 8 picture. Moreover, putter object a front of the  reflective vase to show clear of the reflective design and to form a pattern on the vase.

  • How sequence can be part of your design process

Sequence can be a part of my design because it is also similar to repetition. In designs you can repeat patterns or materials and in fine art, you can use sequence to create movement artworks or photographies to show movements. Also, you can use it to see different varieties of designs in one time or use sequences to plan out compositions and ideas; so it is easy to look at and compare.
