Reading Rebecca Solnit’s saying and observing the shadow of my hand I was a compelling by the image of human shadowing. It was simply inspiring by how the shadow of my hand reflected a different silhouette, which was more cartoony, revealing a character which was telling a story. A simple but a striking observation. “The darkness is generative; the darkness is new.” To me the shadowing my hands, my art, my ideas of making is a shadow to myself. I often don’t know how I create, but I know I will create best, when I don’t know how. I dress in darkness and hide in darkness. That’s why I guess I am interested in human shadowing. The shadow that we create and want to hide. It’s a secret about oneself. The treasure of one’s identity so I believe. We can be multiple personas when we can and want to be. We can be real and fake.
