I chose to do this layout with dingy Polaroid picture frames because when I was exploring Delancy/Essex street I noticed how worn out it was. However, they seemed like they were trying to put up more hotels and tourist attractions to make the place more up and coming, like how recently Polaroid pictures have been a new (but old) form of photography in our generation. I will be writing small notes on each picture at the bottom of the frames as well as on the bottom of my piece of paper. I will do this in sharpie and not on a computer because I want it to look realistic and go along with the aesthetic of the work. I will be doing ten different layouts with each category of photos.
