It was difficult to think of an art piece I could make in relation to my waste, and in retrospect I may have had a more interesting end result if I tracked more than one type of waste. I got good feedback but after seeing my peers’ projects I wish I incorporated more color or used data visualization to add to my piece. Finding a way to visually incorporate the statistics I found from my research in my piece would have been successful.

This project made me consider my waste habits. It was alarming to see how much paper was stacking up in my waste bin after a week, I am trying now to use less paper and print less when possible. I was also affected by the information my peers presented, I have been trying to opt for digital receipts and buy less packaged items.
