For my Time Capsule project I was asked to capture a moment in time (maybe that would have something to do with what inspires me) and condense several moments in one picture. I decided to show a motion of me turning over in my bed. I chose to do this because I am an insomniac and spend a lot of time at night restlessly thinking, and in turn it is in this time that I process a lot of my ideas at night. I also wanted this picture to seem a little creepy because a lot of work that I have created has stemmed from situations in which I have felt sexually exploited or situations with which I have dealt with people being sexually exploited (friends, etc.). I wanted this picture to convey my restlessness while creating an eerie sense that somebody is watching me sleep.
