Description of Assignment:

The assignment was to create a fully coded and functional site that is unique and personal to you. We worked on different coding and design elements, as well as planning the sense of identity that the site would portray.

Description of Project:

My project was a simple yet very clear snapshot of a portfolio of my work. I was always interested in the idea that Daniel taught us about website design where the user should never have to think while using a site. Therefore, I wanted to keep every navigation system as clear and precise as possible. The bold letters and big pictures will also help get the idea across as quickly as possible. I chose to do a snapshot of a portfolio to show the viewer a quick glance into my work and what I enjoy creating. It is sometimes overwhelming when you go to a website and it is bogged down with tons of works and pages. I knew that it was important to create a site that the person could easily access and could see what I do in less that 30 seconds.

Self Assessment:

I have always wanted to learn how to code, and I really took advantage of the time in class to understand and experiment with different codes and stylings. I learned so much and I will definitely try to continue working on websites again in the future. I believe my website was very cohesive and easy to navigate, as well as perfectly hitting all the points of what my website wanted to accomplish. It is a clear representation of me, it shows my work and gives you a gist of who I am as an artist, and it is highly accessible for all people.
