Drawing its title from the Hopi word meaning “life out of balance,” Ron Fricke filmed Koyaanisqatsi, featuring footage of modern civilization and technology and made a point towards humans turning into machines through time lapses and slowed down footage of the world around him.  I wanted to argue that and give a different and unique perspective of how we see the people and world around us, and how the manipulation of time brings out unseen qualities.
