Proposal

The object I chose was Buddha, it fascinated me since I have seen the meaning of Buddha changed in Chinese culture. The majority of ancient myths are correlated with the religious belief that in the rage of the social civilization. Buddhism, after existing and being shared for thousands of years, some of the elements of the belief roots in the mainstream culture in which adopt it. However, influenced by the development of technology, fairy tales have been continuously proven to be unreliable. As a result, the depression of believing in traditional religion initiated.

There are some specific questions interested me. For instances, how has Buddha and Buddhism existed in Chinese culture? (Since Buddhism was spread from India.) How has Buddha influenced Chinese people? Were there any activities in the period of great prosperity of Buddha or Buddhism? What did the people who believe in Buddha dreamed to achieve? What are the reasons that people not believe in Buddha as strong as before? How does people think of Buddha and Buddhism now?
