-Created by Otto Eckmann

-created font that was a fusion of art noveau and blackletter

blackletter: first printed types, most people thought of it as “Old English” with ornate capitals, diamond serifs and thick lines.

“Underground” still used by designers to suggest London in the 20th century.

In 1925 WW1 is over and more modern fonts appear.
