As part of an in-class exercise, we had to learn to create a serial circuit and a parallel circuit (pictured above). The next step in the exercise was to create an unconventional switch to complete a circuit, turning on the LED. Together, Noshin, Neil, and I created a switch that would turn on an LED when Noshin sat down on a chair. In order to do that, we attached a piece of tin foil to Noshin’s butt, and the other piece to her chair. By sitting down, Noshin’s butt completed a circuit with the chair which allowed the current to travel to the light.
