Construct a hand using wire and cardboard as your drawing tools.
The wire and cardboard hands can be constructed using a drawing of the hand as a guide. Wire, being tricky to control can be tamed by using some scotch tape to stick it down onto the original drawing.
The cardboard hand was constructed by cutting thin slices of cardboard from an old box and sticking the strips onto a piece of foamboard by following the contour of the hand.
The wire hand seems more delicate to the eye but is in fact much sturdier of the two. The cardboard was much easier to control and maneuver of the two materials.
