I was most inspired by Guadalupe Rosales: Legends Never Die, A Collective Memory (my featured image). I love how she combines the use of physical archives as well as digital archives through instagram accounts to simultaneously tell stories of differently communities within her culture. I really enjoyed scrolling through her instagram page on the computer that was there and how she really incorporated her instagram page into part of her exhibition.
I was also really captivated by the image above taken by Joe Nishizawa. I think its very interesting he was able to capture images of Nuclear Power Plant and be so close to nuclear fuel. His images “wowed” me.
The last thing I observed at this gallery were Siân Davey’s images. I really enjoyed how all of her work went together aesthetically as well as how she chose to document the children.
