1. This visualization process for this project was very intangible for me. I think I took a very different approach and did not create literal visualizations, rather I looked for an underlying meaning and found a common theme to group all six of my research annotations. I thought this was a really successful project for me and I really enjoyed this project. I think it was my favorite one so far.
2. I was more surprised about the connections in everyone else’s projects rather than mine. I think everyone in my class had very literal translations for their research visualizations. Such as a recycled trash bag to represent a research source about raising environmental awareness or a pink color swatch for research on the color pink. I found that all of these boxes were very aesthetically pleasing and made a lot of sense in their connections between research and visualization. In terms of myself I was proud I was able to dig deep into my research and find a way to relate all my sources to natural/cooking elements.
3. I was really inspired by a student who created a 3-d box and all his artifacts from the 3-d printer. I thought it was very unique and cool that he decided to visualize and create everything rather than take known objects.
