What part of this project are you most proud of?
I am really proud of my process. I really found it useful how Carrie gave us three weeks of work time and how she checked in with each of us individually because it really made me realize how important the process and ideas are into creating a final project with meaning. I am very proud of my connections between my research and final studio visualization.
If you had all of the time and all of the money, what would you do differently?
I would have made this 10 times bigger. I would put my visualizations in 15 feet tall frames and scale the materials inside to size and put it outside somewhere for people to see, In hope that people can be more aware about Islamophobia.
If you could rewind time for one month, what would you have done differently between Spring Break and now?
I would have developed my second visualization with the fabric a little bit more. I am really happy with the way that piece turned out, however I still feel that I could dig a little bit deeper into that one and add more elements.
