My artifact portrayed the memory of my Grandma and Grandpa’s house in Charlevoix, Michigan. My favorite room in the whole house was the little yellow sunroom where I would spend most of my time. My grandma had sponge painted this room yellow. I remember it was always so warm and cozy. We collected rocks, books, and dolls and teddy bears as well as some other things and she kept the in this room.
For the artifact, I hallowed out a book in the shape of Michigan and I sponge painted the outside yellow. I glued in a Petoskey stone to represent the many things that we collected.
