Talking Pictures

Today I visited the Talking Pictures exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The exhibit was about a bunch of artists who were paired with another artist. Over the course of five months, they corresponded via text using only pictures and short video clips. This exhibit featured their conversations.

Something that I found that was very interesting to me was a piece by Cynthia Daignault. One of the pieces in her conversation was a photo of a mural that is in one of the New School buildings.

The way that the exhibit was set up was very interesting. There was one conversation being shown on a television screen. There were several conversations that were printed out and were hung on the wall while other conversations were printed out in book form sitting on tables.

Over all the exhibit was very interesting and I would recommend it.
