When the semester first started, I felt very shy about showing my work and talking about my work. I didn’t like working in groups because I have a different style than most people and I like things to be done in a certain way. Bridge 1 was a comfortable start for me. We wrote and essay about a place that we felt comfortable in and then we made an artifact to represent that place. I really enjoyed this project because it made me think about things that I had otherwise forgotten about. Bridge 2 was a step outside of my comfort zone because it was our first group project. I really like how this project turned out and my partner and I actually worked really well together and had similar styles. The third project was probably the most difficult for me. We created a newspaper and the four of us had very different opinions on how it should look. In the end we came up with a good paper that I think we were all pretty proud of. This semester was full of projects that pushed me further and further. I now feel more comfortable talking about my projects and sharing my opinions with the class. This was a class that pushed me to create interesting projects that expanded my knowledge of different medias.
