For Bridge 2 wanted to focus on the younger people in the community. As I was walking around, I saw many people with young children as well as many younger adults walking dogs or just walking around. I walked up and down several streets and I walked past many schools and parks. Many of the parks had playgrounds for young children as well as benches and tables for parents and other adults. I wanted to present the data in a different way without using charts and graphs. I added photos of Yorkville that I took while I was walking around in the background to add context and a visual for the data.
I added the names of the schools in the area as well as the enrollment data of “children” in Yorkville. The data was taken from the 2010 census.
