SCAMPER
For these basic sketches I was playing around with the placement of the basic floor plan. I placed things like the elevator and the stairs. I wanted to start with the necessities so that I could place the other aspects of the space.
For the sketch models, I started with an open square model that evolved into a closed off rectangular model. The sketch modeling helped my brain to start thinking mostly in three dimension which I found to be very helpful.
Both the sketching and the models helped me to work through my thought process and progress my idea.
