For my final Sustainable Systems product, I created a rug that I wove made out of old ripped and falling apart jeans as well as several different materials that were scraps from other projects. The photos above show the process from beginning to end. The frame that I used to make the “loom” is made from canvas stretcher bars that I had and are still usable as canvas stretchers but I will most likely use them to make more weaving projects. The frame can be taken apart for easy storage.
