Looking:
These images were trying to represent the presence of another realm of existence. Showing elements of life and death, and pure existence was a goal I had, and I tried not to shoot tact sharp in order to convey a sense of the movement of energy.
Not looking:
The way I shot these was much more random; I walked around my neighborhood and took pictures of anything that seemed interesting without looking through the viewfinder. The first one I chose because it tells something about the person in the frame without showing their face, and I just found that interesting. I chose the other two because of the reflections, and how interesting it is to freeze a reflection in an image to view it in more detail.
