[Bridge 3] Reflection on collaborative writing

Thinking of a story together with other people was completely new experience for me. Although I was initially concerned whether it would work out well, our group collaborated pretty nicely. The ideas from different person made the story more interesting and creative.

My group worked together through Google docs. We met in the Google drive at the same time and wrote the paragraphs taking turn.

What I liked in this project was that each of our group members were able to fulfill the weak point of the other members. We could find other’s grammatical errors more easily(that were generally my problem), and think of more creative detail that the other members were not able to think of. This advantage of co-working was present throughout every process of the writing – from brainstorming to revising. Also, throughout the story, I tried to make it more consistent in both the style and the flow of the story. This was definitely not a thing I have done before. I liked that I got to try the thing that I haven’t tried before.

Working on Bridge 3 not only let me experience very new kind of writing but also let me learn how to collaborate in a group project. I’m glad that our group was able to collaborate without any conflicts.
