INT SEMINAR JOURNAL ENTRY – REFLECTIONS ON FINAL DRAFT

  • HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR FINAL DRAFT?
    • I feel pretty confident about my final draft after doing the introductory and rough drafts beforehand.
  • WHAT DO YOU LIKE THE MOST ABOUT YOUR FINAL PAPER?
    • It’s hard for me to choose what I like most about my paper since I was so passionate about the topic as a whole. However, if I had to choose, I would say I liked writing the call 2 action closing paragraph because I enjoyed discussing the ways to solve the NY gang activity epidemic.
  • WHAT PARTS OF YOUR PAPER DO YOU FEEL STILL NEEDED MORE WORK?
    • Maybe the body paragraphs in terms of structure.
  • HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR WRITING PROCESS AS A WHOLE?
    • The overall writing process was great because we were given creative freedom with paragraphs and also had due dates to make sure we completed everything on time without stress.
  • WHAT PARTS OF THE PROCESS DID YOU LIKE THE MOST?
    • I enjoyed the peer review the most because I used the feedback to edit my final paper.
  • WHAT PART OF THE WRITING PROCESS WOULD YOU DO BETTER NEXT TIME?
    • I would perhaps improve upon the introductory rough draft and outline because I felt like I needed to improve significantly for the rough draft. If I had put more effort into my introductory draft and outline, then the overall process most likely would’ve been easier.
