- Include a summary of similarities and differences throughout your work
- Throughout this year, I have not only grown as an individual, but also as an artist. My work has stayed the same in some ways, but has also differed in others. For example, I have realized that I am a visual person and want to create art through mediums such as film, photo, and styling most likely. This was a discovery I made more recently, being that when I first started attending Parsons I was a BBA Major. I also realized that I like to speak on identity through my art, and focus a lot on the alter ego, or virtual realities, along with the help of fashion and music.
- Choose 2 highlights from your first year
- Include your planning, outcome, and thinking about the projects
- HIGHLIGHT 1 : TIME FINAL VIDEO
- Took my time in planning
- Did a lot of early research to help support my concept
- Explored complex editing through Adobe Premiere and Green Screen Use
- HIGHLIGHT 2 : SPACE FINAL PROJECT
- Focused on process, which allowed for me to come up with my final concept.. This was something I struggled with throughout the course but mastered by the end
- Outcome was something I could be proud of
- State your conclusions, future interests, and questions you would like to explore
- After first year at Parsons, I would definitely say I learned alot about myself and the direction I want to go in in regards to my career and interests. In regards to the future, I am planning on interning this summer and creating short films and other works of art in my own personal time.
