This is continued work from the “Rapid Prototyping.” When I hear this project will be a photoshoot in a fashion magazine, and after watching the documentary “The Editor’s Eye,” a puppet with mobiles which I saw a couple of days ago at the Guggenheim Museum came up my mind. Due to the color and the sleeves of our clothing, I thought it would be great if the clothing hung the ceiling with a doll-like model. But taking photos in the museum wouldn’t be allowed, we discussed the concept and the place more. As a puppet, a theater would be a good atmosphere, and as a doll, a toy shop would be good too. However, I believe both of them should have a mood of vintage or antique. I asked for permission the “Beacon Theatre” and “More & More” antique stores in Upper West Side, and the owner of the antique store permitted to take photos in the shop. As the concept “a doll,” we tried to express a feeling of a doll for the photoshoot and sought to convey the atmosphere that my imagery like this music. This French children’s song inspired me.
