During my performance, I told the story of my origin and past using my umbrella, teddy bear, and tote bag. I slowly walked around in circles and made the circles larger and larger as I proceded. As I walked, I first picked up my umbrella, holding it up, using it but eventually dropping it on the floor. As for the teddy bear and the tote bag. I held the bear and it eventually ended up in the bag with me. This work is very important to me because it was an accurate reflection of my past and its content is very personal. It is a part of me that I wanted to escape from but was able to face during this performance. The feeling that I tried to explore was sorrow, a sense of loneliness, and release.
