Body Hybrid-Ducks

What I am trying to express with this piece is the idea of everyone being an hybrid of our current self and a part of our past. The rubber duck is a well-known figure that many see as a symbol of childhood or playfulness. These rubber ducks are the parts of us that we will always carry with us from the past. Although some might not exactly played with a rubber duck during their childhood, yet everyone for sure had some form of precious toy that holds a special place in their heart till this very day. The hand represents the current self, it holds on to the past and form us as a complete person. Without our past we won’t be a complete person, because our past allows us to grow and expand into something new. Wether if the past is pleasent or not, it truly help us to build ourselves. The isolated fingers are there to show the fact that we are partly connected to our past.
