Reflection on Inside Italy’s Shadow Economy
Fashion brands and factories are competitive in producing clothing and other fashion products. Hence, workers are paid unfairly. Since the fashion brands are highly recognized by people, the companies only care about the money they earn instead of what they should do for the workers. In the reading, it shows that the woman does work very hard and for a long time but get less paid. To be honest, some of the garments that luxury companies produced aren’t worth for the price. The luxury fashion companies should really care about those workers especially who worked manually. Handmade products are worthy to paid with higher salaries.
