Project Proposal
I want to critique the fashion relate to the environment. Nowadays, there are lots of environmental pollution because of fast fashion when the fashion industry creates a fast fashion. They are using too much dye chemical that goes to our environment. From the research about fast fashion, fashion wastes are second from the top of pollution environment.
I inspired from (artist). I never thought the recycle material cannot be beautiful. After I saw her artwork, my mind totally changed because it was so beautiful. She only used the recycle material to create the art piece. I was very surprised with her flower art made by fiber.
I want to say to the audience that the fashion industry creates too much waste. Beauty is essential in our life nowadays. However, behind the beauty we are destroying our home ground planet. We start to learn how we protect the environment via fashion.
I am trying to create the fashion item with only using the recycled material. I was researching about fuse the plastic bag to make thick enough to create the tote bag. From my research with fusing the plastic bag, there is a various way to create the plastic bag fabric. For example, we can cut thinly and fuse them together like yarn to create the bag with hand knitting.
My audience possible to be teenager and young who like to follow the celebrities fashion style. I want to plan the runway show on the street which there is no limitation about the audience. Also, I want to make the workshop with recycling exhibition.
