While I research Bridge 4, I did lots of research about fast fashion. The fast fashion affects to enormous effect on the environment. One of an example of pollution to the environment was a textile waste. After, the fast fashion the garments that created past season throw out to the landfill. This point of pollution, I hope to create the garments that show the part of destroying of the textile. The keyword starts with fast fashion and textile. The keyword textile leads to textile design. Then textile design leads me looking for fiber artwork. Fiber artwork was interesting that it looks like embroidery design but gives different feelings of a different method of sewing. Also, by sewing the tread it possible to details of the object. The art that caught my eye was that the artist creates the landscape of nature by the tread.
The artist name is Julie Crabtree. She born in England and study in the fashion field. Now she lives in the United States. She got lots of award in the embroidery art field and fiber art. Her artwork mostly creates a natural landscape with a variety of colors and description of details.
