I was sitting in the cafe on a rainy day. The tone of the day was little gloomy and desaturated. Rainy and dark day make me think about watercolor artwork that little desaturate but a soft image. This I start to looking for watercolor artist. I thought before that watercolor medium looks unfinished. However, after research, I realized watercolor possible to describe the detail of the object, and it looks beautiful. One artist caught my eyes. His watercolor portrait has strong emotional mood and features. Also, the unity of the color creates his mood of the painting.
The artist name is Stephen Zhang. He got BFA from Luxun Academy of Fine Arts and MFA degree at the University of North Texas. He paints the watercolor on a large scale. In his website, I could find the title of the concept and the artwork. His art object was variety such and nature, portrait and line. The post impressed artwork was portrait.
