I was pretty surprised by the result of this assignment. I found out that most of the food store has changed its package from plastic to paper, such as whole food, Sweet Green, Trader Joe’s, and Poke Spot. The picture below shows all the paper bags garbage that I produced this week. By contrast, there is only one plastic box that is used to contain grape tomatoes.
Here are some of the other garbages that I produced last week.(See PDF below) One of them happens to contain plastic.
All in all, I am pretty happy with the result. Especially with my computer recycle bin. It is a real sustainable system.
