My choices for this sculpture, as for materials, forms and appearance in general, were made with the intention to convey different aspects from the sculptural form wheel. The first of them would be the “screen” for “perforation”, represented in the sculpture by the string webs and the perforated metal sheets. The second one would be the “landscape” for “division” represented in the sculpture by the different and separated layers of sheet metal arranged together. The last one wasn’t intentional at first, but the fact the the string web is sort of trapped inside the metal “fences” gives it a feeling of enclosure, which can fit on the “maze” form.
