Pen and ink

I started off my getting a photograph of the three following item: a tea maker, a box and a round shaped hand lotion container. I printed my picture on black and white then threw lines in order to get the right proportion to transfer on the big paper. Then I got a 8B pencil to outline the different shades I see in the picture. On the side of the paper, I labeled from numbers 1-6 with 1 being the lowest contrast and 6 being the high contrast. I chose 6 different patterns so each would represent each contrast.
