In this collaborative project with Aeva Karlsrud, we explored the different meanings and interpretations of 10 verbs inspired by each others writings. Our written portions, that discussed our memories surrounding one object from our history, had a cohesive tone to them. I wrote about my attachment to my obsidian necklace that was gifted to me by my grandmother, and Aeva wrote about her connection to a denim jacket her mother had passed on to her. We tried our best to incorporate the over-arching themes of our writings into our final sculptures.
