When I was first assigned this project I was a little confused on how to construct it. After going through multiple ways I could create shadows on a page I finally decided to cut out colored paper and paste it on a blank white page. I did a total of 10 shadows with the main focus on architectural shadows. I found taking pictures while walking from class to class gave me the opportunity to capture shadows at different points during the day. I tried to place the cutouts in a grid pattern so it would be more pleasing to the eye. I also thought the combination of the primary colors would add something more instead of just black shadows. During the process I didn’t think the project looked quite right but once I finished overall I’m happy with how the assignment turned out.
