4. The main idea of this project/portrait was to represent Emily’s bubbly personality using color theory. The main color I wanted to focus on was the pastel green that closely resembled her eye color. I also used the bigger wood block painted white to combine all of the colors together representing Emily and her bright personality. Bright pastels are most commonly associated with pure, delicate, happy subjects and from my conversations with Emily she fits that perfectly. I quite enjoyed the project and being able to get to know one of my classmates more.
