Proposal 1: Modern Nudist

Concept:
My main concept for my final project is to research modern nudist colonies. Nudist colonies are surrounded by a critical stigma due to our societies view about nudity. Through this project I want to learn about the inner workings of a modern nudist colony such as if there are any “social norms” that occur in that community. I have a connection to someone who lives in a modern nudist community so I will be able to get first hand experience on what it is like to live there.

Concept:
This second concept adds onto the first proposal about modern nudist colonies. I would still do research on modern nudist colonies but as a second piece to the project I would research ancient tribes who are not as influenced by modern society so they are nude almost by default. Then I am going to compare the two societies
