I chose Seung Hee’s because I felt that since it was glazed, and absorbed water well, because it is sand…in a way it could benefit from being a textile or flooring materials under my weaved felt textile. I would think it would be ideal to use Seung Hee’s sand textile near a body of water, such as a swimming pool or even a bathroom. Because in this way, it could absorb the water or be strong against contact of any water. And on top of that, by placing my felt on top of these sand textiles, it could give a cushion or comfort, even a bit of a safety for slippery-ness or coldness (uncomfortable). The felt would also absorb water, and the rigidity could allow it to feel stable when stepped on.
