Yaqi and I create this shift from a flower into a butterfly. We had this idea on wednesday class because she told me that we can create some flower and then I said into a butterfly. On Saturday, we met on a coffee store to have some coffee and talk about the ideas we had to create this assignment. We started creating sketches on how to make the transition and then we had to decide which material to use. We though about using plaster but then we decided to use wire that was easier get it and use. Also, we bought two different kind of wire to create a contrast between the annealed steel and the copper, so that the shape of each object would be very clear and easy to understand. We went to the open work space to work on this and after some hours we finished our homework. We felt really happy because we finished our assignment really early and we had a great time together to get to know more each other.
