This assignment for drawing and imaging was a chance for us to learning the skills of Adobe Photoshop and After Effects in connection with animation.
For our final project in drawing and imaging, we had to create five drawings, an medium and size. I chose to make five pieces depicting the five stages of grief using crochet and embroidery techniques.
This was our final project, it was a two person group project where we had to combine the two previously explored concepts of the group members and create a publication of any type.
The task set was to create a memorial to childhood homes. I started with the death of childhood and went on a journey to the final result of childhood homes. I went forward with textiles and explore all of my decisions in a pdf attached to this post; it is a twelve-page long research paper.
In this project, we set out to promote and denounce one thing. We focused on the relationship between text and image.
This is an adobe photoshop and illustrator project where we create characters and place them into environments.
The project was to create three patterns using Adobe Illustrator that have the ability to repeat infinitely.
This was a group project where we had to combine the concepts behind our first projects into one piece that is two minutes long and does not exceed the space of one square meter – three people, two minutes, one square meter.
This project was part of our Interlude A, in which we had to answer a series of questions pertaining to ourselves and our work. The questions ranged from how we feel about banality to what our favourite recipe is; we could present our answers using any form.
This was part of our Interlude B project where we revisited a past project and expanded upon it using research into artists, history or any other subject relating to it.
