RADIATION
One of the basic design elements, Radiation, can be created with ease using the rotate tool in Illustrator.
How to create radiation or a spiral using your symbols and the rotate tool.
- Place symbol on art board.
- Move using the select tool to a desired place.
- Transform orientation and shape using the transformation tool.
- Select the Rotate tool.
- Hold down the option key, (do not let it up) decide where the point of rotation will be, drag point to chosen place on mouse pad, release and panel below will appear.
- Enter 360/9 and click “COPY”
- Then click Command D to repeat the shape.
Next try using the Blend Tool.
Choose two variations of your symbols, suggestion, one line only.
Break the links to the symbols, select both images, then go to Object, Blend, Make.
Use the anchor point tool, select and direct select tool to adjust.
